September 20-26

Sunday home sick with these two as a tummy bug makes its way through the family.
Why you don't leave your tea cup unattended.

Tummy bug hits Bella--August shows his sympathy.

CAST REMOVAL DAY: a family holiday where we all head up to Omaha for the grand unveiling and then ambitiously plan a hike with the still rather crippled child through a state park that had recently seen much rain and was rather muddy . . . I have had better ideas--but we made it to the waterfall (Josh had to carry Emmett--he hasn't quite forgiven me yet). ;o)

August has become quite a big fan of Daddy lately.

Soup-er Saturdays are here again--cheeseburger soup and apple crisp a great finish to our Saturday.

 Heart-shaped tomato.

Began a bit of potty-training . . . it started out quite promising.  We have since abandoned it for a few weeks.  Process is a lot harder when you have other family members that must be somewhere.  It makes the staying home part hard. #sixthchildwoes  ;o)
Entertainment for the evening: August in the buff dancing on the coffee table (he doesn't enjoy being the center of attention or anything) #sixthchildwoes (ha ha)

Loved this quote from The Hobbit so I made some chalk art for our living room--kind of our house goals in a nutshell right there!

At long last Jackson's birthday gift arrives, he started it that night, and then because he just couldn't sleep due to the excitement of such a huge kit beckoning him downstairs, got himself up slightly before 5:00 in the morning and had it finished by 7:00 a.m.
~
The most amazing and vivid rainbow I have ever set my eyes on--full bow, but I couldn't see the other side as well due to the trees in town.
~
 Choo-choos delighting a 4th boy.

The monarchs descended this week--the zinnias are all a-flutter.

"Bella's purse is the most fun to go through!" says a delighted August. (Or what he would tell me if he could). ;o)

Emmett gets glasses and we begin to investigate vision problems/eye issues he is having and how it is affecting his schoolwork.  Emmett has definitely had a busy last month!
