July 29-August 4

Because of course heading outside to play baseball requires you to put on some sort of appropriate uniform. (and Josh created that lovely tee out of a fencing stake, toilet paper tube, and duck tape--it worked quite well except it lacked some "give" and consequently there was a bat that bounced back and left a shiner on Jackson's chin . . .)
~
Vacation Day One--one of our stops in Kansas City, the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead.
~
Vacation Day Two--after a day spent at a water park Josh still had enough energy to take the boys to a Royals game, and they lasted through seven innings!  The girls and I went shopping. ;o)
~
Vacation Day Three--peering out the observation windows of the St. Louis Arch.
~
Vacation Day Four--admiring the awesome architecture of the Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis.
~
Vacation Day Five--touring the Titanic Museum in Branson.
~
Vacation Day Six--a boat ride on Table Rock Lake in Branson.
~

(oh, and there are so many more vacation pictures to come . . . so many it might take me the majority of August to get through them all . . . ) ;o)

That pic of Emmet is SO CUTE! I remember going up the arch when I was young, I also remember not liking that you had to lean over so far to see out. :-)
