#1 Butter all the way! (Regardless of what your recipe states, use butter instead)
#2 Dark brown sugar--it just gives it a "deeper" taste
#3 And my most recent found love--Ghiradelli Milk Chocolate Chips (think of them as what would happen if two Dove chocolates got together and had babies . . . yep, that good!)

I switched to butter a long time ago and is just makes everything better! I save the cheap margarine for cubbie cookies. haha!
LOL at Josh's comment. :) And those are such cute little cookies! TOTALLY agree about butter--it's actually WAY more natural/better for you than shortening or margarine too, so you can feel even better about eating them. ;)
